Secondary Teaching and Learning Guides Updated

Workshop: Saturday, March 9th, 9am-11am;  Wanganui City College

                   Facilitator: Francis Leslie-Ellis (secretary NZAMT)

The unpacking of the standards documents for Levels 1 and 2 will be shared through this workshop

The senior secondary teaching and learning guides have been updated on the tki website:…/Achievemen…/AOs-by-level

NZAMT, in association with the MOE and NZQA have created documents which will help mathematics teachers understand the changes that have been made and the implication it will have on teaching and learning.
The first of these documents is available here:…/1PGwxXMcCzhLBCqlVBL2iUw2e9T…/edit…

Aim of the Workshop

To inform as many mathematics and statistics teachers of the revisions that are now live on TKI (Achievement Objectives indicators ) and the impact that these could have on the assessment against the Level 1 and 2 Achievement Objectives with a focus on the 7 externals (4 @ NCEA Level 1 and 3 @ level 2). Links to these will be on the information sheet that will be shared at the workshop to assist with your delivery of the workshops.

These workshops will enable the sharing of  information to teachers on the:

1.    TLG changes shared and updated

2.  Impact and clarifications to the level 1 and 2 external Achievement Standards.
